You know John Witherspoon is crazy. Now, he’s bringing the crazy to the Big Apple.

Witherspoon, the veteran comic star who’s played hilarious roles in classic black movies like “Friday” and its sequels as well as “Boomerang,” is on the road performing his standup for audiences around the country.

The Detroit, Michigan native began his career as a guest star on 70s TV shows, eventually building an impressive resume in film and in TV. To date, over his three-decade career, Witherspoon has appeared in over 20 movies and over 28 TV shows.
