A Los Angeles based male porn performer passed away on Saturday, just five days after an altercation with LAPD. According to reports, the actor was shot with a Taser gun.
Marland Anderson, who was suffering from depression, attempted suicide last Sunday. Police responded and found the actor with his girlfriend. He had suffered an anxiety attack and tried to harm himself. His girlfriend put the call in to police.
Known as “Sledge Hammer,” the actor had been using marijuana to ease his depression and suffered from mild schizophrenia, but the psychological condition was exacerbated by the weed use.
After he was detained, he began to panic and broke free from the gurney and broke the handcuff. Police felt obligated to use force.
Nurses in the hospital told reporters that he had been “over tased” and slipped into a coma. He was on life support all week before his mother decided to pull the plug.
A full-scale investigation has been launched.
