I got the name Fly Jock bcecause for eight years, I flew back and forth from Dallas to Chicago to do a morning show and an afternoon show in two different cities, five days a week.
That’s how I GOT the name. Here’s how I KEEP it.

I’m Fly Jockin’ all weekend long. Kicked it off when we headed to Tampa for the National Associationof Black Journalists’ Convention. Everbody had cameras–in case a news story breaks out!
They were all there…CNN’s Suzanne Malveaux and ESPN’s Lisa Salters were running around together. Of course Roland Martin was there…in a white sommer suit and gators. At the after party …at the bar at the hotel…I heard Gwen Ifill was holding court and eating buffalo wings…where else would you see that? When I got there she was gone, she’s slick like that.
