The State of California has reached its limit with Master P.
According to TMZ, the former No Limit Records mogul owes $237,027.41 to the state over unpaid taxes in 1999 and 2000, according to documents filed by the state tax board.
Master P, real name Percy Miller, built his estimated $350 million net worth through No Limit, a label that was popular in the late ’90s with such artists as Mystikal, Mia X, Silkk the Shocker and C-Murder, and for a split second, Snoop Dogg post-Death Row Records.
The company filed for bankruptcy in December 2003, after which point Master P sold its catalog.
Master P also dabbled in film and television, sports representation (notably negotiating a disastrous rookie NFL contract for running back Ricky Williams), and various other business investments.
