The city and the prosecutor all said that they hope a review of the facts will allow high emotions by people throughout the country to subside as well as healing for all people involved. Well isn’t that nice! How come no one mentioned the criminal acts that took place after Daisy decided to come out about her ordeal? Last time I checked burning someone’s house down was a crime that deserves investigating and prosecuting. So are verbal and digital threats, which is what Daisy and he family endured, causing them to flee Maryville.
It seems these families are a long way from justice, but at least the ball is rolling in a better direction. What do you think about this devastating case?
