An Arkansas man is feeling lighter after his dog ate one of his testicles early Monday morning.
According to police, the man woke up to a “burning pain” in his groin area. He told police he sleeps nude and when he looked down he noticed his newly adopted dog in between his legs with blood on his front paws and muzzle. He soon realized the dog had eaten one of his testicles.
The 39-year-old man who is paralyzed, told police he doesn’t have “feeling from the waist down,” reports a local news station KAIT-TV; this allowed him to sleep through the attack.
The dog was taken to a veterinarian and euthanized. The victim only owned the dog for three weeks prior to the incident.
The unidentified victim was treated at a local hospital.
