Everyone is is mourning the death of former ‘Moesha’ star Yvette Wilson, who played Andell Wilkerson. She was just 48 years old.
As previously reported by NewsOne.com, Wilson was suffering with stage 4 Cervical Cancer and kidney issues was in dire need of funds in order to pay her mounting medical bills.

I was out shopping today and i just heard about her passing away from a friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.
I don’t remember her on the Moesha, I thought it was the Parker’s?

Yvette was on the Parkers, but she had a role on Moesha before that.

I am always sadden and amazed at how many stars die broke. Why couldn’t she afford medical treatment? She was a great talent. Yet, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord Jesus. I will miss her.
P.S. She was primarily on The Parkers, but remember, the Parkers was a “spin-off” show, so all characters were seen on both shows. RIP Yvette.
