Too Short was arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of drug possession and driving under the influence, but not before he tried to take off running during his breathalyzer test.
The rapper, real name Todd Anthony Shaw, was stopped by police officers for a traffic violation early this morning (March 20) and asked to undergo a field sobriety test. According to TMZ, that’s when he attempted to flee.
Police say he tripped while he was running and cops caught up with him, placing him under arrest.
Law enforcement sources also tell TMZ that Short tried to dump narcotics in the back of the police car.
The 46 year old was taken into custody and booked for DUI and felony narcotics possession.
