Concerned parents are petitioning Kraft Macaroni & Cheese to remove dyes from their signature dish.
Approximately 200,000 people have signed the petition on Change.org which is asking Kraft to remove two artificial dyes from their ingredients.
According to the petition, the dyes are harmful to children, citing that they can cause asthma, migraines, hyper-activity and rashes.
Kraft denies this, releasing a statement that reads, “We only use colors that are approved and deemed safe for food use by the food and drug administration.”
The two dyes they are asking to be removed are Yellow 5 and 6.
