Betting odds are in the favor of Ghanaian Cardinal Peter Turkson to become the next Pope.
According to Irish bookmaker Paddy Power, Turkson’s odds are 11 to 4 to replace Pope Benedict.
Turkson would be the first non-European to lead the Catholic church in over 1000 years and he would be the first black Pope ever.
The Roman Catholic Church has 1.2 billion-members.
