Reid, a 24-year-old from Carrollton, Texas got real about her weight when she had to drop out of a friend’s wedding because she thought she’d fail to fit into the bridesmaid’s dress. Now 240 pounds, the Prairie View A&M graduate says “I want to be the best me that I can be in all aspects of my life, including winning this losing battle with my weight. I no longer want to be insecure and self-conscious.”
On the next episode of “The Biggest Loser” which airs on NBC Mondays at 8 p.m., contestants must “Face Their Fears” which includes sharks, enclosed spaces and singing in front of people. One contestant even feared eating vegetables. A seven-story building challenged the entire cast to face their fears in order to advance.
