Fantasia Barrino covers the March 2013 issue of Jet Magazine but she’s not too happy with the mag. Tasia took to her Instagram account to blast the publication for publishing an old photo of her on their recent cover. She wants a redo and wished the mag used the pics that her camp sent over.
Tasia posted a pic of the cover with the caption:
This saddens Me!!! It is clear that this picture is 10 Years Old and JET Magazine puts it on the Cover!! After I send them the NEW LOOK AND DIRECTION. . SAD!!! I WANT A PUBLIC APOLOGY FROM JET. Now im not sure if the interview is correct. SEE!! America they and use me as they crash Dummy BUT NO MORE. IF I DONT STAND FOR SOMETHING ILL FALL FOR ANYTHING.

After seeing Fantasia on Idol, she is owed an apology. This is the best we have seen Fantaisia

Why wouldn’t Jet show a current photo showing all the hard work she has put in.
An old photo represents where she was, a current photo would show where she is

I think i speak for alot of people when i say Tasia is one of those girls that you want to feel for. You want to feel good when she’s up and bad when she’s down. But it really says alot about a women when she complains about someone making her look good. I mean that cover has her looking like a strong regal powerful black woman, and she’s worried about it possibly being an old pic. I understand it may be the principal of the matter but as someone already stated pick your battles babygirl
While the Soul Train picture has her hair styled somewhat differently, I believe the photo chosen was beautiful because it is a profile picture. It speaks to me of strength just by the jut of her chin and angle of the shot.
There shouldn’t be any shame in the photo used. Both allow opportunity to allow her to be taken into thought with her presence on the cover. If an apology is to be given, I believe one for being ungracious would be due.
An opportunity for the voicing of future goals, where you have come from, along with where you are now in a positive light in the media is something to be thankful for. When you look at the negative attention you have received in the past, positive attention should be something to strive for. The glory and honor to a Lord who believes in second chances.
Let Fantasia see how many white magazines would be falling over themselves to put her on their covers. Beyounce is going to get on them way ahead of you girlfriend. Jet did a story on you long before anyone knew who you were. Maybe those pics your camp sent over sucked. Fantasia, did that ever cross your mind? The one photo accompanying this story has you with some writing on your arm. A tattoo, danggummitt, what are you doing competing with Lil Wayne on how much body art I can get put on me? What apology? Jet Magazine was doing her a favor. Oh well, Fantasia go running to Oprah. Maybe she’ll put you on the cover of her magazine.
Just to clarify, the word is REPUTATION. If we are going to clown the aforementioned celebrity for poor grammar, we’ve got to come correct….People in glass houses…..you know the rest….just saying
She really showed her illiteracy in that rant. She needs to learn to spell and use correct sentencing.

these women can sang,, jill scott, sade, these are the true performers,, and fantasia needs to start taking control of her life, and to pick her battles, and I think that is what she is doing. so good for her,

Jet sucks now and will never be what it was back in the day. I wouldn’t subscribe period. And shame on jet mag for not honoring Fantasia’s request. Her new look is fab and jet owes her an apology.
